Meet Samy

Hi, my name is Samy Khoury with HighTechLending Inc., doing business as Golden Heritage Financial.

I am the branch manager of Golden Heritage Financial in Kirkland, WA and I am also a licensed loan originator.  I have been in the mortgage industry for over 25 years.

My passion is working with senior homeowners to help them explore the potential advantages of Reverse Mortgage.  I particularly enjoy meeting prospective clients face to face, at their homes, with no obligation, so I can understand firsthand their specific needs, and explain how this loan really works. I cover the advantages and the risks of the loan program.

A Reverse Mortgage may be a beneficial retirement tool, but it is not for everybody. Either way, I believe that a senior should be knowledgeable of all the facts so they can make an informed decision.

The seniors I meet with appreciate my high ethical standards and professionalism.  No matter if they decide to apply for the loan or not, my commitment is to give them excellent service.  If they decide to apply for a reverse mortgage, I will keep them completely informed throughout the loan process.

    • At the conclusion of a reverse mortgage, the borrower must repay the loan and may have to sell the home or repay the loan from other proceeds;
    • Charges will be assessed with the loan, including an origination fee, closing costs, mortgage insurance premiums and servicing fees;
    • The loan balance grows over time and interest is charged on the outstanding balance;
    • The borrower remains responsible for property taxes, hazard insurance and home maintenance, and failure to pay these amounts may result in the loss of the home; and
